A Welcome From Our Director of Residence Life
A complete collegiate experience includes living on campus and being at the heart of the campus community. We require all first-year students to live on campus because we know that those who do are more likely to persist to graduation and will have greater academic achievement than those who don’t live on campus. This is due to the fact that students who live on campus receive additional academic support, are exposed to faculty outside of the classroom and feel connected to the campus community through involvement and friendships in the residence halls.
The department is proud of the variety of housing options and the quality of the facilities that we are able to offer students at Northern Colorado. We offer traditional rooms, suites, apartments and houses, all with great amenities and value.
Northern Colorado supports student achievement through engagement in the campus and the greater community. The department of Housing & Residence Life plays a role in engaging students and helping them be successful students. From residential learning communities to The Den, an academic resource center, we offer a variety of services that will support student learning.
I hope this website can give you a sense of what living on campus can do for your college success. I also invite you to visit our campus, where you can get a sense of the wonderful community at Northern Colorado.
Sincerely,
Jenna Finley
