Snyder Hall

Snyder HallSnyder Hall houses 103 students on three co-ed floors. The majority of rooms house two students, although some rooms are single-person or three-person rooms. Each room is snyder has a built in sink and vanity area, with bathrooms and showers located on each floor, and features hardwood floors and air-conditioning.

Built in 1936 along with Sabin Hall, Snyder was rennovated in 1999 and some rooms wereStudents playing football on the Snyder Green especially designed for ADA accessibility. The basement houses both the laundry facilities and a community kitchen. Every floor has spacious lounges overlooking the Snyder Green. The first floor lounge has a pool table and the second and third floor lounges have enough space for group studying or movie nights on the big screen televisions. Just across the courtyard from Tobey-Kendel Dining Hall and a short walk from the University Center and the Central Campus academic buildings, Snyder Hall is located in the heart of the Central Campus historic district.

Snyder is part of Central Coalition, a group of residence halls on Central Campus that share the front desk at Hansen-Willis Hall. Central Coalition includes Belford, Decker, Gordon, Hansen-Willis, Sabin, and Snyder Halls. Students wanting to get involved in the Central Coalition community can be part of Community Council.
