Residence Halls
Decker Hall
Decker Hall houses only 28 students on two single-gender floors and is home to the Honors residential learning community, where it offers students who are admitted to the University Honors Program a unique living environment where students can have out-of-class learning experiences and interaction with other honors students. This hall features two-person rooms with bathrooms and showers located on each floor. Some rooms are especially designed for ADA accessibility.
Built in conjunction with Belford Hall and Gordon Hall in 1921, this hall was renovated in 1999 and features carpeting and air conditioning in each room. In addition to a large living room style lounge the first floor also has a community kitchen. The second floor has a convenient study lounge and the basement has both the laundry facilities and the television lounge. Decker Hall is close to Tobey-Kendel Dining Hall and only a short walk from the Central Campus academic buildings.
Decker is part of Central Coalition, a group of residence halls on Central Campus that share the front desk at Hansen-Willis Hall. Central Coalition includes Belford, Decker, Gordon, Hansen-Willis, Sabin, and Snyder Halls. Students wanting to get involved in the Central Coalition community can be part of Community Council.
