Our variety of quality living facilities includes traditional rooms, suites, apartments and houses, all with great amenities and value.
Central Campus Residence Halls
Central Campus residence halls range in size from 28 students to 282 students. Many of the halls on central campus are historic buildings, and add to the beauty and character of campus. All of these halls have been renovated.
West Campus Residence Halls
West Campus residence halls range in size from 504 students to 612 students. There are a variety of floor plans and living options available, from traditional double rooms, to apartment style living. Construction of the new West Campus Residence Hall Complex is currently under way and the initial phase is scheduled to open in Fall 2008.
University Apartments
University Apartments offers apartment-style living, flexible leases, and updated amenities.
University Houses
University-owned, off-campus houses accommodate six to 12 students, and include all the amenities of a home and the ability to stay on-campus during winter and spring break.
Commitment to Sustainability
The University of Northern Colorado has been named one of four recipients of the City of Greeley’s first Environmental Stewardship Awards, which recognize individuals and businesses for outstanding efforts and strategies for protecting the environment. Among the accomplishments leading to UNC’s selection:
- Since 2001, UNC has increased its recycling of paper, cardboard and other items from 103,000 pounds annually to more than 521,000 pounds.
- The campus has cut its natural gas and electricity consumption by more than 15 percent since 2002 through the use of energy-efficient equipment and energy-conservation practices.
- More than 2,000 faucets and shower heads on campus have been refitted with low-flow fixtures, saving nearly $70,000 annually.
